Wonderpod Episode 157

This weeks Wonderpod was almost wrecked by forces beyond our control. Namely my ISP being losing a fiber optic cable to a knuckle head with a backhoe. Luckily my connection was restored a mere forty five minutes before we were supposed to record. Feels good to finally have some luck thrown our way for once. Mostly games talk this week.

Ranting about abused terms

We cover a story the smashes one rumor. Then turns around and makes one worse. (Next Xbox)

Used games are the devil. My momma said so!

EA now holds the keys to Star Wars. Feel free to panic at your own pace.

Nintendo wants mobile games on Wii U. Panic setting in or new revenue stream?

DICE Developing a dark forces reboot could be very awesome. Even Republic commando rebooted would be perfect. I won’t be disappointed if they don’t do battlefront as long as they do a FPS of some sort with frostbite 3. But yeah, my first choice would be BF just to see G kick ass at it.

Although it’s obvious what bioware should be working on , i personally would love to see something completely different and Star Wars related from those developers.

If EA could bring back factor 5 from the dead for PS4 / neXt box I would have a massive force bonnet .

Yeah I should of been more clear about Bioware when we were recording. I meant to site KOTOR as an example of Star Wars games already made by them. I would be fine with them doing something new in the Star Wars universe. Another KOTOR can wait. It will be interesting to see what happens

LOL. I don't know if I ever would get back to the levels of the rankings I did way back in 05 or so. That engine was what it was, and that was all I played exclusively for months. It didn't hurt that I befriended a guy who was ranked 4th world wide and got to play the best competition and learn from them how to legit own at BF2. The servers have been closed for years, but a bunch of us old timers got a couple weeks in years back just before they were disabled. Still did pretty good. The best trick was to exploit the tank and switch between sniper/engineer to keep the vehicle alive. Kashyyk was my best level for destroying.
