Minecraft_Road_Trip Episode 2

I have survived another week on my minecraft road trip. This week I played on the peaceful setting quite a bit.  That was until I started feeling like a sissy for doing so. So I went back to easy, a giant change to be sure. Back to the every climbing spiders which comes in pack’s of a dozen. Anyway my enemy complaining aside, this week had some awesome adventures. I ended by building a giant base and then I drowned.  Who knows if my water logged ass will return from the grave, tune in next week to find out. Until then enjoy this weeks episode.

Nice fort at the end. Do you take screen shots with a camera or somehow use your PC to do it, they are pretty good quality. I am enjoying the minecraft stuff on the site.

Actually the screen shot function is built in to the game. I was surprised how good they looked both in video and just looking at them in the picture viewer. As much as I would rather do in game video, this works rather well. I will be back with another next Sunday. Oh and was it to long or a good length guys?

  3. PatMan says:

The length of your vid is fine because you are constantly changing the pics and you keeping the story interesting and changing. I think much longer might start to discourage the younger crowd but the length you have now is pretty good. it can always be shorter/ longer from week to week depending on how many interesting adventures you come across each episode.

Nice! I am going to catch up on all of these Minecraft videos. What are the "rules" of your road trip? A straight line always, four blocks wide, dual torches no more than X blocks apart, never turn aside, etc? I used to do something similar in my own survival games, go on an extended walkabout with a ton of supplies and torch out a clear path.

Hey Squidious nice to see you! If I recall right I was doing the road four blocks wide and as many torches as possible. Back when these were made I hated dying and wanted to light up everything. I play so much different these days. Seeing the contrast is interesting.
