Wonderpod Episode 74

This weeks Wonderpod is brought to you by. The exhausted and the mentally bankrupt. This show came out excellent considering at least two of us were really out of it. In case your super curious I am the mentally bankrupt one. Like you didn’t already know that. We did get around to discussing games.

Discussion topic is about MMO’s and education

Alternaut G has an question about video games and recent history.

Games defeated Apple? We aren’t sure.

We hope Randy Pitchford wears cherry flavored shoes. Also Game Informer is a magazine.

I sincerely enjoyed hearing the perspective of Glaser about Infamous 2. I don't think we could have gotten a better analysis of a gamer's take. Kudos brother!

Bruce gets the win for finally acknowledging the potential of online gaming meets education. If I had to pick just one WWII moment, I'd go with Ortona, Italy where Canadian troops invented modern urban warfare upon threat via Montgomery to do so or suffer death. The Canadians put their tank guns into open windows of buildings and blew everything up a bit, then the troops took the structure from the top-down. Epic. Put that Maple-Syrup on your pancakes Call of Duty.

Otherwise, I would choose to go to the future and achieve immortality. That would be sweet too.

Note though, Bruce you are wrong. A Voodoo zombie is alive. An undead zombie is dead. That is a significant difference. I will battle you over this one.

I've eaten Moose and Elk. Moose is tastier.

I think there is some kind of "being" in the Survivor Naut G's Escape Wonderpod. I would appreciate any help or advice from WPO folks as to exercise that demon. Help a five-time removed cousin out…

I never have tasted Moose, but Elk is pretty decent.
As for this Survivor Naut " being", I fear the worst for the crew. And for Diddys anus.

I still don't buy games used in education in a general sense, but some applications such as the one we discussed are intriguing.
As to the Zombie thing, I well aware of the difference between the two, but was not going to waste the time de-railing the show to explain the difference. Smart assing my way out of it was the easiest.

Finally I am the opposite of G man on the moose and elk. Love Elk, you couldn't get me to ever eat moose again. I have had it 4 or 5 times and found it not to my taste every time.

I’m so glad I found my solution olinne.

  5. Janine says:

Yup, that’ll do it. You have my apperiaction.
