I wanted to do an article that would be an in-depth analysis on the 16 bit wars primarily focusing on the Genesis and SNES. I want it to more than just an opinion piece, cause there are enough of those, so I wanted to open the forum to discussion about the different aspects of each console and where they excel, to come to a conclusion (or lack thereof) of which console is in fact better. So what I am asking is, what facets of each platform should we compare? We of course would touch upon the obvious points... Graphics, Sound Capability, Controllers, Design, etc. What else do you think should be compared to come to a result in this debate?

Honestly, in our one podcast, it was apparent that there was quite a bit you knew that I didn't regarding sound hardware, etc. You could talk about raster vs. mode 7 vs. super FX chip, etc. You could talk about the quality, pitch, and why the hardware worked the way it did as far as sound. You could even talk about how Sega generally geared their games in one direction, while Nintendo geared it toward another.
I could help out in a few areas, but most of what I would reference is right off of Wiki anyway.
