I have a pretty good collection of comics . Comics given to me that are from the 60's and 70s, a LOT of stuff my brother and I got from the 80's and even some from the 90's. But, it has been a long time since I collected any. Is there anyone here at the WPO who still collects comics? And if so, what do you like to buy??

I do! I do! What I collect are the Fanboys vs. Zombies and Dark Knight.

Cool. I would not even know where to start these days. Or, how much they cost now, which would probably be a shock!

I still have a few boxes of comics. Occasionally I dig them out and read. Occasionally I get nostalgic about something old and dig around and buy some old stuff on ebay. I haven't bought/subscribed to anything current in years.

One time I used to buy floppies exclusively, bag and board them. However slowly turned the way of the TPB, and with Peter fewer and far between. The only semi-regular TPBs I pull are Walking Dead and Invincible. I've been so far away from regular Marvel and DC comics I find it almost too dense to get back into.

That being said I've been dipping into some cheap TPBs, in the last year I've read Batman Dark Victory, Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow, Superman: Red Son, Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Red Son I've meant to read for a long long time - it's a great Elseworlds story... what if Superman had crash landed in Cold War Era Soviet Union instead of Kansas. Great read.
