So having two nearly full lists on youtube already, I think it'd be fun to start up a topic for our favorite videogame music. I'll start! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsJ7A3AZssYTatsunoko vs. Capcom - Batsu's Theme While I still love the original, this helps bring new life to a series I actually forgot about (and Capcom as well, apparently). Awesome theme with plenty of sweet guitar riffs.

I have never been huge game music nut. That said anything from the Elder scrolls series and Guild Wars 2 are ones I really like.

Where to start? I could make a whole thread on my picks alone.
As a rule of thumb I like boss themes more than general themes as they're usually far more memorable, but I could think of a few general tracks.
Also I play Guild Wars 2 as well. What server are you on?

Shit yeah. Oblivion had some great tracks. I don't know, man, let's just throw out shit and see what we come up with. At its very worst, we could just find stuff we like that we never even knew about and at it's best? Stuff we both ended up liking we thought no one else knew about. In any case... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKvjEQXKeecEarthbound - Sanctuary Guardian Easily one of my favorite boss themes for an RPG. It's funky, ominous, and has a great beat.

Video game music composers are the most under rated musicians out there. We have some amazing tunes in games, some are simplistic while others are epic and could have been used as motion picture soundtracks. I really don't know where to start, my list goes way back in time up until present day. Most recently ,I have rediscovered the music in the original KI Arcade and have also been humming along with the funny tunes in Rayman Legends.

Along the same vein as that track, I love this one from Earthbound for the same reasons. It's ominous, but it's funky at the same time. It just makes you focus as you go about smashing things with your bat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-xtCP3ehDE Earthbound - Peaceful Rest Valley

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yvW6vp4M0ABattlefield 1942/43 intro music. The BF music is just awesome. I could just see a real military parade from WWII using this exact soundtrack. This is yet another example of a musical score enhancing a videogame experience.
