So, the original GOW is free on Xbox 360 for gold members. Not sure how many people don't actually have this already, or the sequels. But if you don't have it, might as well go chainsaw some bad guys, curb stomp some noobs and say "fuck yeah, I just reloaded my gun Dom"! I thought, for its time, it was a great action game with great visuals.

Again, like Halo 3, a lot of people already have it, or have played it to death, still, despite my criticisms of the series as a whole, if you've never played a Gears of War game, you definitely should, even though the concept has been regurgitated in most modern shooters second only to the FPS, it's still a fun game, and online is quite an experience.
That being said, I would've chosen Gears 2 as the free game. It's got more features and is all around more improved. The original Gears was hard as shit in campaign, annoying, especially by yourself. It's definitely a game where co-op is very recommended.

I really enjoyed Gears, hell it was one of my first AAA 360 experiences ever, and it blew me away visually. Is Gears 2 better? Yeah, prolly but I didn't know better then.
