Monday Meandering

Monday and it’s nasty outside. I saw a cat go flying by just a moment ago. Some how I went to bed in California and woke up in Kansas. I either need a new travel agent or I was kidnapped. Nasty weather means more time indoors. Which means I can focus on some internet projects, so I can live with it. The reality is, I’ll probably spend half the day watching porn and the other half reading Walking Dead comics.

I started using twitter because some guy named Jim told me it was the hot new thing. At the time it wasn’t quite the global phenomenon it is today. It has become for me people watching, without all the trouble of going out in to public. I follow a mix of folks, mostly connected to the gaming industry and a few from my other “hobbies”. That is the cool feature a lot of people miss about twitter. You can just start following people and be entertained for hours on end. Sure tweeting yourself is helpful, but not mandatory. To many people look at these social networking devices as things you must interact with constantly to enjoy. There is something to be said for being a social network ninja.

Gaming with the crew the last few nights has been stellar. We are in that gaming void where we don’t have one game that is the nightly feast. Seems like we gravitate back to Left 4 Dead during these lull periods. It does make for a nice change of pace when COD/Halo is your usual menu. I finally polished off Singularity and enjoyed it greatly. I am not really sure what to call Singularity, yet it was a fun experience. Makes me feel a little guilty I passed on it last year during launch. My next task is to give Darksiders one final shot. It has finally dawned on me that games of this genre are never going to be my friend. I was never built to understand them and enjoy them as most people do. That said there are games like Darksiders that are worth struggling through. Next week I will decide whether to buy Bulletstorm or Fable III. With HomeFront right around the corner it is really hard to make up my mind. Fable III would be a good call as it will give me something to grind on when not playing HomeFront. Hard to pass up Bulletstorm if it will teach me the secret of bullet rape.

I am trying to express my outrage at political correctness in this paragraph and not having any luck so far. Third try is the charm right? Actually, fuck it I will just make this short and sweet. To any of you kunckle heads who think that elder or elderly is offensive and not PC. Please go fuck yourselves with a pipe. A large and rusty pipe. There isn’t a damn thing wrong with those words. Better that then calling them an old fart or the soon to be dead. See these politically correct fucks never think about how much worse it can be. Hopefully I just provided a service.

Speaking of language might as well break in to this little gem for a closer. I tend to curse as you may of noticed. While I try to control the amount, I will never stop using words like fuck, shit, cunt, asshole etc. I see nothing wrong with them, they are colorful and are great ways to describe things when ranting. I will never subscribe to the theory that they make writing crude or make you seem less intelligent. I have a huge vocabulary, sometimes the f bomb just covers it better than any five dollar word can. All that said, I do understand we have some audience members who don’t like it. Either in text or audio format. So in a effort to be nice, I am trying to cut down on the amount of them I use. I want everyone to enjoy themselves when viewing Wonderpod-Online. Still when it comes to screaming at idiots curse words will appear from time to time. I have an idea to warn your though, so feel free to skip paragraphs that involve cursing.

I’ve always been crazy, but it’s kept me from going insane
