Chrome Games 2 (Zombie Pandemic)

Time for the second installment in my Chrome game’s series. This week I bring you a game called Zombie Pandemic. I know what most of you are already thinking “ Oh sweet flaming mother Mary in a side car, not another zombie game!”. Trust me at first I was thinking the exact same thing. Then I actually played the game and I think it’s worth your time. Even with zombie issue.

Down On The Bot Farm

Uh oh looks like someone is screwing with the app store. According to this news post from Joystiq. People are employing a bot service to alter game rankings. First off, I’m surprised we don’t hear about this more than we do. iTunes and the app store are a crowded market to break into. As someone who has a podcast on iTunes. I kind of understand why someone would resort to this practice, but that doesn’t make it right.

BWF Radio 10: Pintnoir and G form the Wolfpack

It’s Sunday, and you know that means it’s time for another installment of Bored Wrestling Fan Radio. This week was a little different than our regular format. ThinkSoJoE was kidnapped, and duct-taped to a chair by Stone Cold Steve Austin, J.T. tore his quad walking across the ring, and DrowGoddess turned face in Toronto facing the Rock. Since Vince McMahon never bothered to ressurect the Wolfpack, Pintnoir and myself did one better. We made the show happen. I’m not sure which of us is Sting or Scott Steiner, but I assure you, neither of us are Buff Bagwell.

This week we discussed the results of the Royal Rumble, RAW, Impact Wrestling, and Smackdown. We took time to focus on the little things while going through the results, addressing some issues that have bothered or pleased us during the week.

Download BWF Radio 10 here.

See, even when things are not planned, even YOU can record a podcast. Therefore:

Under the Scope – Stealth in Videogames

For me, stealth is a very mixed bag. I really appreciate games that allow you to use stealth, but don’t completely shove it down your throat with unnecessary and unforgiving trial and error sequences. The early Splinter Cell games were a perfect example of this in action. It’s very hard to get stealth “right,” especially because you need the enemy AI to act appropriately to what we would expect in real life, but I think I’ve found three games that seem to match this well. Don’t forget that I attach videos to the pics!

G’s Almost Stampede Wrestling Classic…

Why “almost” you ask? This stems from the fact that the two involved indeed cut their teeth in the Hart Dungeon, but Stampede Wrestling was inactive at the time of this match.

On February 4th, 1994, Lionheart Chris Jericho would square off against Lance Storm in a ladder match for the Mid-Heavyweight title.

Smackdown: 02/03/12. Yes, Natalya Has a Farting Gimmick Now…

Last weekend was a whirlwind of activity for this G guy. With the Royal Rumble being the highlight, or so I thought, to cap off a content filled Saturday and Sunday, expectations were high. Did the Rumble deliver? Hrmmm… not so much, but I’ll get to that this week with the BWF Radio Crew on Sunday. Until then, let’s see how the outcome of the PPV affected Smackdown this week, shall we?

I’ll even throw in the Power Poll just for fun. If anyone reading this wants to participate and write for the BWF and/or WPO, this democratic multi-site ranking position is currently available. Toss a message in the comments if you are interested.

And even though it was kind of a depressing Rumble, we did get this.

Wonderpod Episode 96

We made it through a show without gunfire. You heard me right, a new episode of Wonderpod and no bullets flying. There was also no explanation for the loud bangs from last weeks show. Must have been aliens or black helicopters. The show is still awesome minus all that and it is ready to go. Feel free to download several copies. No SOPA/PIPA issues with us.

PNTNR review TNA iMPACT 2/2/12 – Live (Taped) From Wembley Arena. Yeah, it’s Hogan?!

We start Impact Wrestling with Champion Bobby Roode and Bully getting heat from the crowd. After taunting Storm (calling him “The Cowgirl James Storm”)calls him out. Storm comes out to raucus applause. The Bully jumps in front of Roode as a protector should as all three men face off. Leading to Steve Borden coming out to announce that Against All Odds will be a four way for the TNA World Title. Making sure to assure fans that Jeff Hardy is well and will be ready to compete. But Storm still wants the two disciples of the Selfish Generation tonight!  Sting faced with this crazy redneck scratches the two on one match originally scheduled and turns it into two separate matches having the cowboy work double duty. Before shouting his now trademark “ta ta for now!” Which the British crowd eats up with mimickry.

Minecraft Cribs

Way back in the early days I did a sad little video series. It was called the minecraft road trip and it consisted of screen shots. What your about to witness is an actual video, Vivian would be proud.  I have no clue if it’s better than the old series. I just know it’s not bloody screen shots and that makes me happy.  So sit back and enjoy the first episode of Minecraft cribs.
