Wonderpod Episode 97

This week’s Wonderpod is a festival of ranting. It was said during the show, but let’s say it again here. This was an angry episode. Even Jon who is never angry managed a pirate like arrr or two. There is no way to gauge whether there is more cursing this week than usual. Let’s just say the ranting is funny and let you the audience decide the rest.

What we’ve been playing turns into bitching at idiots

Gamer stereo types and human vanity.

Audiomaster G talks superstitions.

It’s bad enough a rumor about a rumored console is news. It’s even worse when some developer monkey talks about it.

EA never learns

A rumor about a Star Wars game. Finally a nice piece of news

I am not sure if I am glad the show turned out to be less " angry" or disappointed that it was less " angry" than advertised…haha.

So that fuck head at THQ must have NEVER bought a used car in his life, or used text books, or used cloths, games or movies. He must have never traded used cards or comic books either. And he must havenever been to a garage sale where he picked up who knows what second hand and used. Because IF HE DID any of these things , he is a fucking HYPOCRITE and his entire comment goes down the drain ….

Also, A StarWars BF game on the 360 would be cool.

That is what kind of sucks about doing this show at times. I was super pissed when I read most of the stories and feeback about KOA Reckoning, but that was Monday or Tuesday. By Thursday I was somewhere between cranky and grumpy about it. Plus I kind of wore myself out with the first rant lol.

Interestingly the tired and worn out whining of a game dev wasn't what pissed me off, although I agree with you 100%. It was the rumor about a rumored console that really cheesed me off.

A new StarWars BF title for anything would be cool as hell.

Lots of angry McGee on this one. Pay for play on a $60 title online? Nope. I’m gone too.

Kobolds…. I miss "sweeping" those guys on the classic TSR PC titles like "Pool of Radiance."
