sugarraydodge SRD here. And once again, I’ve rounded up all our friends from Wonderpod, TCR Comix and Nintendo Legend for another round of our Top 50 Games of All Time. We enter the Top 10 next week, but not before we have our say about these guys.

Doom was amazing for its time and it helped revolutionize an entire way of playing video games. It probably should be ranked higher than 11, but still very deserving of its place.
Banjo Tooie is a great 3D platformer. It is only one of the few that can be directly compared to Mario 64 and thus it is an amazing title in its own right.
However its prequel, Banjo Kazooie is without a doubt the superior title. Tooie became " too big for its bridges". It had TOO much to collect, levels that were TOO big to explore and still keep fun, it also suffered from over the top bosses that were, for its time, TOO big.The frame rate suffered because of this overly ambitious title, making it difficult at times to play. Oh and those FPS levels? Yeah I get it, Rare made Perfact Dark & Goldeneye 007. Do you see FPS in any other mascot 3D platformers? No? That's because it was not very fun. That said, its still one of the best 3d platformer's of that generation and a VERY fun game. Its just not Banjo Kazooie.
