With the relatively recent release of the latest generation of gaming consoles, it’s easy to make the argument that these systems are at the forefront of the industry. The idea of purchasing an Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and/or Nintendo Wii U is only going to become more enticing this year with all the games that are on the way. Really, it’s impossible to gauge at this point which system of those three will emerge the winner this time around, though chances are it’ll be the Xbox or PS4. But will that console be the ultimate winner in terms of gaming as a whole? Now that is an interesting question.

Through The Wurm Hole (Part 2)

I have spent the last few weeks learning to build a house from scratch. Given my previous experience and skill set, I would never thought that was possible. Arcana is an interesting place to live. Besides Maria there are several other villagers here. Most of them keep to themselves as surviving in this world takes a lot of effort. We do have a priest in the village named Mickie, who cooks for us. The warning to that being that villagers must bring him meat. One thing I must make clear, outside the walls is a very dangerous place. In the weeks I have been here, I only ventured out four times. One of those trips led to my death. Seems strange to say, but even death doesn’t work right here. I shall try to explain.

PatMan Plays KI. First Day With Spinal !

As of yesterday, Killer Instinct has a new fighter for us to enjoy! Spinal turned out great and was worth the wait. They really did a good job with the new look of this classic KI character and I love how he is laughing insanely as he fights. I recorded the first few fights I had with Spinal last night. I guess I did ” OK” for not using the tutorial and just jumping right into the game. I fight Jago, Saberwolf and Orchid. Wait for the end as Jago gets an awesome ultra combo on me. I think Spinals ability to absorb attacks along with his great design will quickly make him my second favorite character in the new KI, just below Orchid. Oh and take a close look at his shield as it is super cool. Check out some game play footage right here!
