An action RPG that has semi-real time strategy elements, close and long-range combat, lots of optional side missions, and even stealth gameplay? Surely, there’s got to be something wrong with it. That’s what I thought too, but ultimately The Last Story delivers on several fronts and has something for everybody…if you can look beyond some minor glitching.

Being the sarcastic and humorous bunch we are things got a funny and possibly offensive. So in the true spirit of WPO I give you our reaction in screen shots. September 12th, 2012 Bruce McGee I read this article while trawling for podcast news. My first thought was oh great another zombie game. We don’t have enough of those running around. Then I saw this sentence and it stopped me. “Famitsu claims the game will be “novel”, “nostalgic” and feature “things never seen in a zombie game.” Oh really? A game that has things never seen before in a zombie game? Is that even possible at this point? I am seriously asking, is that possible? Well Mister Keiji Infaune you got my bloody attention. I make a lot of noise about being tired of zombie games everywhere I go. That still remains true, but from the creator of Dead Rising I am willing to pay attention. Obviously its all speculation for now. Come TGS I will pay very close attention to what this game has that no other zombie game has ever had. I am hoping for Smurfs or pretty Unicorns with chainsaws. September 11th, 2012 Bruce McGee The time has come for yours truly to branch out a little. Wonderpod-Online was always intended to be a catch all site, on top of home to the podcast. Each member of our staff knows they are welcome to write about whatever makes them happy. I never take advantage of this fact and it annoys me at times. It gets in the way of being lazy and unproductive. Then you have to spell words and make sentence things. Well that changes today. The first subject I want to rant about has been on my mind a while. September 8th, 2012 Bruce McGee While wondering around YouTube this morning I came across this trailer from Ubisoft. Looks like Microsoft is going to give free to play games a real shot. From what I have read about the game there will be things to purchase, but you can’t buy your way to winning. I am slightly skeptical about that and of course it’s a fighting game. Which we all know I stink at. Still I will give the demo a shot for sure. Like PatMan says if it’s free it’s for me
