September 18th, 2012 PatMan Aside from Mario, Rayman platformers are the best in the business. Hell, I even picked RayMan Origins on XBOX 360 as a better game than “New” Super Mario Bros Wii. And I stick by that claim. The game was that bloody fun, that beautiful and has a great sense of humor. So, when I heard that the exact same engine that powered Origins was being ported over to iOS I was interested, to say the least. From what I am seeing this gameplay will be a little more simple and “streamlined” for iOS gamers when compared to Origins. But for the iOS platform that may very well be a good thing. Trying to get a control scheme that is on par with a complicated XBOX controller would be impossible and lead to frustration. Anyways, RayMan Jungle Run was supposed to come out in a few days, but those crazy french did not wait and its out right NOW. Check out the trailer here. The game goes for $2.99 and like most/all iOS games, is sure to drop in price at some point if the WHOPPING price tag is just too much for some of you.

Dead Island Riptide Trailer
September 18th, 2012 Bruce McGee The first Dead Island game had some good moments. Unfortunately it could of used a lot more polish and variety. Let me put it this way. It was an open world game that I never felt compelled or encouraged to explore. Seeing this CGI trailer for Dead Island Riptide doesn’t really get me excited for a sequel. If you recall the team at Techland released a very emotional and some what controversial trailer for the original game. This trailer doesn’t invoke emotion nearly as much as the other one did. Maybe you have a different take on it. Watch the video and let us know.
PatMan Picks: Free iPhone games. Gunman Clive( Today only)
September 17th, 2012 PatMan What is this you say, not one but two FREE iOS picks, in the same day ? It might be because I was on vacation the last 2 weeks and want to make up for it , or maybe it might be because not everyone likes free Panties Ninja games( No accounting for taste). Or, it might just be dumb luck that I found 2 games worth posting about today. What ever the reason you need to download Gunman Clive pronto. How ” pronto “? Like now, because it seems to be one of those ” 24 hour only” free deals, and its a cool game you should not miss out on. Gunman Clive is a fun action/platform/shooter set in the old west. It has a great art style that does a good job of hiding the fact that the game actually runs on a 3D engine. *Pat Tip* Turn the setting up to high , if your device can handle it, for the best visual effects in the game. The game looks unique, controls decently and plays well. A word to the wise, some of the platform levels take getting used to and you WILL die and fall off them a lot at the start. Now don’t let that stop you from downloading it if your not a big platform fan because there is plenty of shooting to be had here as well. And after all, if you get to it fast enough, it is FREE. September 17th, 2012 PatMan Everyone loves Fruit Ninja. And why not, it is a great and fun time waster with addictive and simple game play. But have you ever wondered to yourself what the game would be like if, instead of chopping up fruit, you actually chopped up girls panties? You HAVE? Oh. OK. I was just kidding. Well, your kind of a sick bastard, but today is your lucky day because Panty Panties is absolutely FREE on iOS! The game is basically a rip-off of the great Fruit Ninja games, only not as addictive, nor as fun. It also has a strange character that has a pair of girls panties on his head, covering most of his face like a panty mask I suppose. Now that I typed “panty mask” Wpod will probably be filled today with dissapointed pervs on Google searching the term. Or, maybe if they have i Phones, they wont be disappointed! All joking aside, the game is a decent clone of Fruit Ninja and if your into that type of game you can always give it a try for FREE. I honestly don’t recommend the game for purchase, I mean why not get Fruit Ninja instead if you have to actually pay for it? But this is PatMan Picks FREE iPhone games, so why not give this one a free whirl for a few days, it has some humor to it and is a decent time waster if your getting tired of slicing fruit. That, and you can show your friends that you have a game about panties on your iPhone. Quick Look: Guild Wars 2 Event.
September 13th, 2012 Bruce McGee Most of our staff and readers are not MMO players. So I imagine most of them groan when I go on about Guild Wars 2. Which is why until today I have spared you, from 83 videos looking at pretty scenery. For the first time ever I am posting a video and the pacing and timing remind me so much of an FPS. A little back story on this. First off this is a world event and I literally do not know a single person I fought this battle with. These events occur all over the world in this game and anyone can take part. Second, it is one of the best features of Guild Wars 2. Finally this is actually the last 6 minutes of a 4 stage battle. Which took approximately 30 minutes from start to finish. It truly reminds me of a high paced round of death match in MW1. Maybe not in form, but in level of intensity and chaos.
