Pintnoir reviews Impact Wrestling – 3/15/2012 (A match for Anderson)

We open with Steve and Bobby walking into the arena (from separate entrances of course). For some reason Roode step out of the pyro room which makes me wonder. We get a vignette of Roode vs Sting going into Victory Road this Sunday.

James Storm our official TNA redneck comes out to make an inring promo about his eventual confrontation in a steel cage with the aforementioned Roode. I smell a slobber knocker coming this April. Just as Storm’s finishes Bully Ray comes out. He taughts the #1 contender tellling him that he won’t make it to Lockdown. And just when we think a fight is about to break out Ray calls out Gunner to take his licks. After a couple of punches the security groupies rush the ramp to separate the two, during the insueing ruckus Ray gets in a cheap shot.

Smackdown 03/16/12Smackdown 03/16/12Smackdown 03/16/12

Smackdown will save my week. It has too. I wasn’t thrilled about RAW nor Impact Wrestling (haven’t caught up on ROH yet). Obi-Wan will show up. It has to happen. I’ll complain about that stuff on BWF Radio #16 this Sunday. Until that time, let’s hit up Smackdown, shall we? Giver!

Happy 3/16 Day! One for the marks!

Wonderpod Episode 102

Wonderpod is now two years old. Essentially, that means nothing short of a cease and desist or restraining order will stop us now. This week the regular crew returns to action. Glasenator is now a roving podcaster and I find that awesome. Other than that new feature the show is pretty much back to form.

Dragon Quest 9 – Sentinels of the Starry Skies

Available For: Nintendo DS
Developer(s): Level-5
Publisher(s): Square Enix, Nintendo
Release Date: 2010
Rating: E10+
Archetype(s): RPG, Traditional

General Overview

Level 5 and Square Enix are at it again with another fantastic RPG that incorporates much of the old with a little new to create a traditional, fun, and often tough little masterpiece. The very fact that this was all done on the DS makes it that much more impressive. If you love traditional RPGs and/or have always been a fan of the Dragon Quest games, this is a title you absolutely cannot afford to pass up.

Minecraft Building Removal (How Not To Do It)MineMine

I had some time this morning to shoot a minecraft video. Yet I wasn’t quite ready to show you guys my all new tree house city. I had a pesky building that I didn’t want anymore. Naturally I went for the quickest, easiest way to remove it. This of course lead to going to far as it often does with me. The aftermath was not funny, but I think the video will give you a laugh. More on this city as I have time.

Atelier Annie – Alchemists of Sera Island

Available For: Nintendo DS
Developer(s): Gust
Publisher(s): Gust, NIS America, Koei
Release Date: 2009
Rating: E10+
Archetype(s): Anime, RPG, Sim

General Overview

A very odd entry in the already odd Atelier series by Gust, Atelier Annie concentrates on developing a resort with alchemy. Combat is far too simplistic, yet complicated and fairly uninspired. In fact, there are many things that Atelier Annie does wrong, though the one thing it does right will often keep you coming back: the sim aspect. It’s strange that only this one new concept helps keep things together, so it would be hard to recommend this for fans of the Atelier series.
