March 4th, 2012 PatMan RIP Ralph McQuarrie, the first individual hired by George Lucas for the Star Wars films. His amazing conceptual artistic talent and ideas helped shape the entire Star Wars universe. Without his concept art many of the amazing characters and locations in the Star Wars universe would never had been created the way they turned out on film, TV and video games. He has and will continue to inspire artists , movie makers and fans such as myself. His work helped shape a big part of “PatMans”childhood, heck to be honest, it still plays an important roll in what I watch and what video games I play. Of course and by far most importantly, I feel for his family & friends at this time who knew the personal and non Star Wars side to this man that we the fans never did. Ralph McQuarrie died at the age of 82 years old. Here is some of his historic conceptual art from the original Star Wars Trilogy. You can see more great art after the link, below.
March 3rd, 2012 pintnoir Where are on the road to Lockdown, and what better way to start that off then with a list by Kurt Angle explaining why he hates Jeff Hardy?!
Kurt comes out and proceeds to read off some notecards all the reasons why he hates Hardy:
1. Hardy has long hair which he dyes different colors, Kurt Angle has none.
2. Kurt Angle comes to autograph signings on time but when Hardy shows up late all the people in his line walk away to get an autograph from Hardy
3. Kurt has many action figures and posters, but when he goes to kiss his boy goodnight all he sees is Hardy posters and toys in his room, and his son also has the audacity to dress like Hardy too.
What confuses me about this make believe heel list from Angle is that with Kurt’s background as an all american Olympic good medalist wouldn’t the list he gave be only one line long “Jeff Hardy is a drug addict, and self destructive personality who is a bad influence on my son.” There he would have saved impact fans five minutes.

March 2nd, 2012 Bruce McGee Wonderpod has hit the century mark! In just under two years we have done 100 episodes. So we did something special(read messy) for this episode. Most of the crew was live in the toilet monkey studio shack for this epic recording. I want to thank each and everyone of you who listen and here is to a 100 more. Special thanks to Glasenator for contributing mightily to the banner.
March 1st, 2012 Bruce McGee The Minecraft 1.2 update is live and ready for download. So I dropped everything I was doing and got the game all patched up. Then I shot a quick video showing off some of the features I found. I will have more on this update as I get time. Now I had better pick back up the podcast and finish it.

February 29th, 2012 PatMan The latest trailer for the upcoming Avengers motion picture has been released and I must admit that its looking pretty good. I was never expecting a great movie to be honest but I am liking what I see here in this new trailer. I think it will be a fun, action packed movie worth the hefty price of admission these days at theaters. I like what appears to be friction between the members of the team and I am personally hoping for Thor to kick the crap out of Captain America at least once in the movie. There are those on youtube and twitter asking why Spiderman is not in this Avengers movie and the answer is that Spiderman did not join the original Avengers for decades, so it would be a bit strange to have him in the very first film. That and Spidey is getting his own reboot this year anyways. So, what do you guys/gals think of the new trailer? Are you a big Avengers fan, or will this just be another popcorn flick to watch on blue ray sometime next year?

JT, G, and ThinkSoJoE discuss the week in wrestling including Elimination Chamber, RAW, Super Smackdown, the Chris Brown/CM Punk situation, and even this week’s Impact Wrestling! Joe turns the volume down on G for a second or two, then later kicks out a plug on himself to the point where we had to edit out 30 seconds or so of silence. Plus, JT and Joe discuss GreenTeabagger’s epic Kurt Angle Intro from our old forums. February 25th, 2012 PatMan With the birth of PatMan Jr, PatMan has been a little on the busy side as of late. This means little time for podcasting or posting articles and videos for you people, the fine Wpod viewers. However today I have an epic post as PatMan Jr is transformed into his FIRST starring roll in a video game, at the tender age of 4 weeks!
