Now I am jealous about not getting one at launch today. Maybe I will go looking for one today. Great video, the random roommate did a good job of comic relief and the unboxing was good.
Let us know how those AR cards work, I hear you can somehow do them on a TV screen or PC monitor…
This kinda reminds me of when I got my GBA. Literally in my second year of college, I picked one up and was super psyched, even though there wasn't much to show. Not exactly an epic unboxing, but fun all the same I'm sure. Honestly, now that they're out, I'm wondering how quickly the normal DSs will drop? My current one's a POS and I really need to get a new one, but I don't think I'm quite ready for a 3DS yet.
I was at best buy and future shop today. Both had at least 5 or 6 in stock in both colors. But no game screamed out to me, not to mention the decent ones like street fighter and the puzzle one for my wife were sold out. So I didn't get one. Like the original DS and its first few months on the market, I can see a little while where the software doesn't match the hardware as you said Glasenator. Same thing is happening with Kinect really.
Oh well, then again, if I feel like it i may just buy one at a drop of a hat tomorrow. ha
Ha ha! The excitement probably best explains this though! Thanks for getting the sneak peak video up upon request! 🙂
Your roommate, or whoever that is, made this really funny as he played the negative sarcastic role… nice!
You did goo my friend you really did. Your roomie plays a good comedic foil as G said.

The 3DS is a much needed upgrade, but I would suggest waiting to get one until there's software to match the hardware.
