PatMan Picks Free iPhone Games. Motorblast

The time has come for another free iOS game for your weekend enjoyment. This time it is a fun racing/action game by the name of Motorblast.  This game usually goes for $2.99 but it is free for the downloading, at least for a limited time. Motorblast  has impressed me with its variety of levels in its single player mode. Not only do you have your straight up racing, but there are also levels where you collect coins,  race  into small check points to beat the clock, and of course there are combat levels. The combat levels have the same feel as a Mario Kart type game where you race to pick up power ups that are placed on the track. Of course, in Mario Kart you are not using machine guns, or rocket launchers for that matter.  There is also an online multi player mode which I have yet to check out. Motorblast is fast fun racer, it looks great, controls decently and the variety of racing levels will have you enjoying it for some time. Especially for, you know, FREE. I like this title more than I thought I would and it is a must download for absolutely no cost, especially if your into racers. So, go check out the screens I took below, have a good weekend playing free iPhone games, and I will see you all on the flip-side.

Smackdown 01/25/13: Dat Rumble Go Away Show

No need for some long drawn out intro to this review. This Sunday is the Royal Rumble, and everything of significance is well established. This episode should serve to do little else to maintain a holding pattern and replay all the build from previous episodes of RAW. But, hey, you never know. I might be wrong. It happened once.

PatMan Picks Free iPhone Games. Temple Run 2.

Endless runners. Yeah, I know, they are a dime a dozen on iOS. Ever since the original Temple Run became a massive success on  iOS, uninspired developers have regurgitated clone after clone of similar looking and playing titles , in hopes of getting a quick buck. Some of them are actually pretty decent, but most Temple Run copies fall short of the fun and quality that the original Temple Run has. So, when Temple Run 2 came out I was hardly excited to see another Endless Runner, yet at least I knew the game would be decent quality. Turns out the game is free for download, relying instead on gamers to pay small transactions in game if they want to make life easy for themselves. So I gave the game a spin( if it is FREE it is for ME) and I actually do  like it. I mean, if your going to give a Temple Run clone a try, why not the true sequel to the original? While I know that some of you are fed up with the whole gametype, and I don’t blame you one bit, it seems that the masses are not tired of it. With over 20 million downloads on iOS in its first week or so, Temple Run 2 is going to insure that the “Endless Runner” game will be around for years  and years to come. Like it or not. Check out some screens below and see you all next time!

Don’t cross the streams. If you slip, you might get wet. Why would you try and anger water flowing, anyways? You’re just crazy. Oh wait… that’s me. So pretend you’re playing Frogger, because it’s hopping time, folks.

El Generico with a not-so-generic move!

Greetings, fellow Bored Wrestling Fans!  ThinkSoJoE, JT, G, and Jorge bring you another great episode of BWF Radio!  This week, we rant about The Rock!  All of the wrestling television from the week is discussed, as well as Superstar Billy Graham’s reaction to CM Punk’s RAW promo.  Zack Ryder’s YouTube show is history, is his career next?  WHERE’S TRENT?  Unemployed.  We talk about the new TNA PPV structure, and propose six PPVs that WWE should keep on their calendar if they decide to follow in the trend of dropping events.  Joe and Jorge vehemently defend ECW’s production values in comparison to ROH’s, and we send our congratulations to Mick Foley for being the first inductee into the 2013 class of the WWE Hall of Fame!

PatMan Plays Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (Wii U Demo)

If you were a regular listener to past episodes of Wonderpod you would remember that both Bruce and myself were big fans of the original Sonic All Stars Racing from a few years ago. As a matter of fact, we played online via XBL many times as well as playing single player on our own. So when the demo for the sequel came out on XBL I gave it a shot and was pretty impressed. Then, I came into temporary possession of the new WiiU console and decided to try the demo out on that machine. I am glad I looked into this game on the WiiU because it may have convinced me to wait until I own my very own new Nintendo console before I pick up this title. And here is why.
