He-Man Returns On iOS. But Does He Still Have The Power?

OK so I grew up watching He-Man and the Master of the Universe. I loved the cartoon, even if it was kind of cheesy. I had, no, I still have many of the action figures and toys today. All put away, all waiting for a certain little mini PatMan to discover in the years to come. He-Man was really the first of the big toy line cartoons that would be all over TV in the 80’s. It was before GI Joe, Transformers or Thundercats. So, when I heard yesterday that an iOS game called He-Man: The Most Powerful Game In The Universe was “coming soon” I was actually a little excited. iOS games are cheap as hell and if I can get a little nostalgia out of it all the better. By the looks of the trailer they have gone with a humorous approach to the game and that is probably the way to go to be honest. Check out the trailer below while I dust off my action figures and wait for its release.

In the interview, Matt chastises Joe for not doing his homework and threatens to hit him with the Whoopie Cushion if they ever meet in person. Aside from that, he talks about his influences for the Doink character, his thoughts on some other evil clowns, what he would have done differently if he were the guy playing Doink when Dink was introduced, the transition from Big Josh in WCW to Doink in WWF, his relationship with the late Art Barr, and much more.

Smackdown 10/05/12: Turkey Day Weekend (unless you’re wrong)

As the world turns it’s attention to Big Bird, and MLB playoffs, or the accurate celebration of Thanksgiving, the WWE is a busy beaver. RAW went head to head with a huge NFL game. The debuting Main Event program in the US market would contend with Presidential Debates and Triple Crown feats. What a great idea! But, Smackdown continues to dwell in it’s miserable timeslot on Friday although now up against two wildcard MLB playoff games, and that means it’s time to hop to it, shall we?
