Lufia & The Fortress of Doom

General Overview

What happens when you take one of the best classic game companies and throw them into the RPG arena? Lufia happens. Lufia may not be the best RPG ever, but it definitely offers a new, interesting take on console RPGs and has developed quite a cult following, though typically due to the sequels and prequels rather than the original product.

Saints Row Series

I’ve often regarded the Saints Row series as San Andreas on crack. Really, I’m not wrong in this, but it’s how THQ and Volition go about their gangsta bromance trilogy that’s really important. All 3 Saints Row games have provided an incredibly fun, over the top experience with each one pushing the boundaries that much more in what makes crime games fun, often becoming self aware and parodying itself.

Really, there’s not a whole lot else I need to say to get you prepped, so let’s just hop right in!  Oh, and don’t forget about the embedded youtube links if you want to see trailers and stuff.

PatMan Picks :Most Interesting WiiU Game At E3. And It Is NOT From Nintendo?

If you were to tell me a week ago that I would find a third party game, with Zombies in it no less, to be the most captivating WiiU game at E3 I would have laughed at you until I was out of breath. Then I would have taken yet another even more deep breath and laughed at you again. You see that never happens at a Nintendo E3 event. Ever. But somehow this year, it did. ZombieU really shows off what the WiiU can do and it also shows the potential for great mature “Core” games on the new system that can coexist with all the great classic Nintendo titles that are sure to come. Even thought Nintendo may have not shown as many first party games as they should have to promote a brand new system, obviously the first party games that we know and love are on the way. It seems, unfortunately, that many of them may be a little later to the party than I expected, but they will come. In the meanwhile, ZombieU is exactly what I was hoping for from 3rd parties. It looks good, , uses the WiiU controller well and maybe because I am not a huge Pikmin fan, it is my pick for most interesting launch title on the WiiU.

Glasenator Games: Super Meat Boy part 1

Hey guys, thought I try something new and put a few Let’s Play series together for everyone.  The first one you can see is Super Meat Boy, I think I will be uploading 2 or 3 episodes a week.  Have fun listening to me grunt like I’m constipated trying to play this game.

Non Specific Action Hero wraps up E3 For Big N. Humorous prop, Or Possible Teaser?

E3 is over for Nintendo and say what you will about the show one thing is for sure, people are talking about the WiiU and that’s exactly what Nintendo wanted to happen. I for one still have my doubts as to a first day purchase, but the hardware is very promising. One reoccurring character at this years E3 was the”non specific action hero”, first seen in the pre E3 video that the Big N sprung upon us and now here at the very end. Is this merely a funny prop, never to be seen again, or has Nintendo hinted at something more? An appearance in the next SSB game? Or a title all of its own, or absolutly nothing more than a humorous end to the show? You decide! The video is right here boys and girls….
