WWE RAW Reflections – 28/03/2011

-Can you smell it in the air?  It’s getting closer and closer.  WRUSSELMUNYA!  It’s the Go-Home RAW, and basically, the Go-Home show for what looks to be the BEST WrestleMania card, top to bottom, in a decade.  And tonight, we get THE Confrontation between The Rock, John Cena AND The Miz.  Does WWE knock this out of the park?  We shall see!

“Who Really Deserves the WWE Hall of Fame?” – J. Ruff

Our Celebration of Professional Wrestling continues!Logo

In a tradition that has become one that accompanies WrestleMania weekend where ever the WWE takes the event, the Hall of Fame celebrates the accomplishments of legends of the ring. Like most HOF’s, there are different wings for induction. In the case of the WWE, they have a celebrity wing that has stirred up some controversy this year as Drew Carey is our inductee.

This in turn has raised the question as to who, amongst non-wrestling celebrities, actually deserves to be in the HOF? Justin Ruff takes the topic to task back over at the Bored Wrestling Fan, and you can dropkick your way to it here.

Puppet Wrestling

Ah Tuesday morning dawns and all is quiet in this little town. Well except for the dog barking two houses over. That little rat bastard woke me up ten minutes before my alarm. Then came harpy like shrieking of his owner. The saddest part, the houses in this neighborhood are not that bloody close together. Country living at its finest, my ass.

What a perfect way for two old smarks to contribute to the ongoing festivities and celebration of professional wrestling going on at Wonderpod-Online and the Bored Wrestling Fan?

The Wrestler Panel (Repost).

A Celebration of Professional Wrestling Continues!

G’s Note: I organized a project a year ago in honor of the art of professional wrestling. It was a massive endeavor, and one that I enjoyed doing. Originally, I intended on doing it in a theme of a fan panel where fans submitted the questions and then answered each other’s questions. However, my friend Big Bad Chad, helped me coordinate this panel with a number of independent hardworking gentlemen… a true exclusive conversation by wrestlers about wrestling. As we approach the weekend of WrestleMania XXVII, I wanted to bring this article back out of obscurity in honour of all wrestlers who graciously donated their time to allow this project come to fruition.  Thank you!  I hope you enjoy it!
