“CM Punk Is Not Impressed”

What’s going on Wonderpod Online Dot Com readers? Well, that Punk, CM, is at it again. He’s entering into another one of those memes just like the one I brought to you a while back with his “Punking” antics, with the article entitled: “Punking” is naturally better than “Planking” And this one… well, this is one of photo-bombing and the like. You might just get a kick out of it, and if you do not… well… CM Punk is not impressed. And it all started here:

Let’s get to it, folks!

Impact Wrestling 09/01/11

Impact taped two episodes on the road in Huntsville, Alabama, this week. Tonight we will be watching the wrestlers perform outside of the Impact Zone, which should make for a hot crowd… one not as jaded, ignorant, or just those who like to chant nonsense to hear themselves. If nothing else, at least I can say I made one positive observation… let’s get to it, shall we?

My Chantelise Review

The indie scene is quite a popular place these days. It often reminds me of independent films; sometimes they’re not quite as good as big budget titles, but often if the director’s heart’s in the right place (or in this case the developer’s), the result is a lot of clever features, quirks, artistic style, incredible story, and whatever else that really wins us over.

PatMan Picks Stampede Wrestling Classics: Bad News Allen (Brown) vs Owen Hart.

Welcome to another episode of classic wrestling here at Wonderpodonline.com. As usual, we will travel back in time once again to our destination of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The home of Stampede Wrestling! This time its Owen Hart, the future WWF tag team champion, “slammy” award winner and the man destined to become the “king of Harts” in the WWF. His opponent in this match is a famous Stampede Wrestling veteran by the name of Bad news Allen. You will likely know Bad news Allen as Bad news Brown from his time wrestling in the WWF in some great matches, including Wrestlemainia moments against Owens very own brother, Bret Hart. This match showcases young Owens early talents in the ring as he spends much of the match dominating Allen in the technical aspects of pro wrestling. However, this match will also show off the toughness, experience and never die attitude of Bad News Allen that made him a star and a multi time champion both in Calgary and around the world.  Worth noting near the end of the video is the appearance of Owens greatest rival in Stampede Wrestling ,Makhan Singh, who was also known as Bastian Booger in the WWF ( I still feel so, so ,sorry for him about that terrible gimmick). Enjoy the fun, excitement and action of this match and I will return with another PatMan Picks Stampede Wrestling Classic next week!

PatMan Picks Retro PC Games: Delta Force

These days anyone who sees me playing on XBL can tell you that I am a big shooter fan. COD, Halo, GOW, BF. You name it, if I can play online with friends or against random noobs, I will probably give it a shot. But I wasn’t always just a console shooter gamer.I did start off playing FPS, like most gamers my age, back on the PC. It started for me with DOOM and it went on from there. Delta Force is one PC game that I absolutely loved playing, both offline and online. For its time the open environments were pretty impressive and I liked the voices and squad feel to the game. It had a pretty solid single player mode, but it was its online multiplayer that had me totally addicted. I have to admit I was good at the game online and on top of being a good player I was one of the very early adaptors of cable internet. This gave me a speed advantage to go along with my shooting skills which more often than not allowed me to finish in first place at the end of most games. Delta Force must be the PC game that I have played the most amount of time online with. Hell, it might be up there with some of my X-box 360 shooters for time played online. The game had hilarious “taunts” that you could use after you killed someone. With a touch of a button you could say the words ” loooooser” and ” Its hard being THIS good”. For whatever reasons I never really got into the sequels that came after Delta Force, but to this day I still remember all those nights up late playing this classic PC title.

Smackdown: 08/26/11 Seat Filler Diary 3

On Tuesday, the WWE trucks pulled into Calgary to tape Smackdown. Once again, I had the privilege to be a seat filler and temporary WWE staff member. I will break down the episode as it appears on TV, and live in person. I will also comment on my third consecutive opportunity to be a seat filler.

A special thanks to pintnoir who covered Impact Wrestling for our sites this week! Let’s get to it, shall we?

Wonderpod Episode 77

Time for another round of Wonderpod. This week we are joined by Jonkind, while Glasenator battle Ned the Internet serpent. The serpent couldn’t stop him from being heard on the show, which is always good. We also had the usual questions, topics and smart ass humor. In other words porn jokes galore.

Mortal Kombat 9

Hey friends. If you are like me, you love yourself some Mortal Kombat action. I myself own a Wii, so I haven’t been able to participate in this year’s revival of that klassic (with a k, get it?!) experience. HOWEVER! I have seen the story mode on YouTube and it is FANTASTIC. Just from a cinematic story-telling point of view, it’s absolutely killer. The only problem I have had with it, though, is that people always include their fights in their YouTube uploads. I realize that this is part of the “Let’s Play” phenomenon, but come on. It stretches the experience from roughly two hours to almost five. Buh. Arf.

BUT! There is a solution after the jump… Read more »

Play This Fighting Game OR GO TO HELL – Round 1

In an effort to acknowledge all videogames that truly deserve (and totally ridicule those that don’t), I have chosen to go forth and highlight some fighting games. And by that, I mean 1 on 1, 3 on 3, or whatever. Not that beat-em-up, brawler, or hack n slash stuff. Not that it’s bad, mind you, but fighting games operate on a different principle. Strategy! Combos! Finishers! Flashy stuff! Badass music and sound effects! Special moves! And yes…even button mashing…for those of us that just don’t give a damn.

Since this will be my first official entry, I’m not going to take it too terribly seriously, BUT YOU ABSOLUTELY SHOULD ACTUALLY. Today I will be highlighting…
